XEJ Energy Index – Charted

As at the date of writing there are 10 constituents in the ASX200 XEJ Energy Index

BPT – BEACH ENERGY LIMITED
WHC – WHITEHAVEN COAL LIMITED
WPL – WOODSIDE PETROLEUM LIMITED

Currently it appears there is a huge, well tested long term falling overhead resistance line coming from June 2008. Around the 8th of October the Index touched that falling overhead resistance line at around 12,600 then fell away sharply. There may be a support line just under the 10,000 level which might see a bounce up, potentially to retest the falling overhead resistance line.
